Last week, Dua Lipa’s “Levitating” hit No. 1 in a week where no song seemed to be strong across the board. This week, the song strengthened its presence on the chart, which enabled it to hold off Olivia Rodrigo’s “deja vu” – the biggest single on the nation’s biggest album. (In a rare feat, Rodrigo’s Sour charted all 11 of its tracks onto this week’s Top 40.) The remainder of the Top 5 is rounded out by Justin Bieber’s “Peaches,” ” Doja Cat’s “Kiss Me More” and The Weeknd’s “Save Your Tears.”

Reality set in for J. Cole’s Off-Season album, which had eight songs on the chart a week ago. This week, only two songs remain, and both of those – “my.life” (No. 23) and “pride.is.the.devil” (No. 27) fell 13 places. The other six -“amari,” “95.south,” “applying.pressure,” “100.mil,” “let.go.my.hand” and “interlude” – exited the Top 40.

Meanwhile, Rodrigo’s Sour staged a coup of the Top 40, with all 11 songs squeezing onto the chart. Other than “deja vu,” Rodrigo hit paydirt with “good 4 u” (No. 7), “drivers license” (No. 11), “traitor” (No. 12), “brutal” (No. 15), “enough for you” (No. 17), “happier” (No. 18), “favorite crime” (No. 19), “1 step forward, 2 steps back” (No.21), “jealousy, jealousy” (No. 25) and “hope ur ok” (No. 31). The last four of those were also new entries onto the chart.

Eight songs made significant leaps this week, and five of them belonged to Rodrigo: “deja vu” (up six), “traitor” (up 23), “brutal” (up 21), “enough for you” (up 21) and “happier” (up 22). The other three big movers were “Butter” by BTS (up 16 from No. 24 to No. 8), “Heat Waves” by Glass Animals (up seven from No. 31 to No. 24) and “Wokesha” by Moneybagg Yo (up four from No. 37 to No. 33).

Other than the Rodrigo tracks, only two other songs made debuts this week, and both of them have spent the last seven weeks on our “Side Burner” chart. “Lil Bit” by Nelly and Florida-Georgia Line entered at No. 38, while Mooski’s “Track Star” slipped in at No. 40. “Telapatia” by Kali Uchis also re-entered the chart at No. 36.
