Christian Music Top 40, 9.12.21: ‘My Jesus’ still riding the wave at No. 1

With relatively little new music being released, the Christian chart remained largely unchanged this week, leaving Anne Wilson’s “My Jesus” virtually unchallenged as the No. 1 song. Wilson’s debut single has now been at the top for five straight weeks and should continue there for at least the next week or two. The No. 2 and 3 songs were also unchanged — Elevation Worship’s “Rattle!” and “Be Alright” by Evan Craft, Danny Gokey & Redimi2 held on to their spots from last week. Phil Wickham moved back into the Top 5 with “House of the Lord” at No. 4, and CAIN’s “Yes He Can” slipped another spot to No. 5. Rhett Walker’s “Gospel Song” fell out of the Top 5 to No. 7.

Other trends in this week’s chart:

Biggest movers:

  • “All Together” by Mike Donehey (up five from No. 28 to No. 23)
  • “Never Wanna Go Back” by May Angeles (up seven from No. 37 to No. 30)
  • “Like You” by Aaron Cole (up four from No. 39 to No. 35)

  • “Believe for It” by Cece Winans (down seven from No. 7 to No. 14)
  • “Rejoice” by Andrew Ripp (down four from No. 23 to No. 27)
  • “I Don’t Want to Miss It” by Ellie Holcomb (down five from No. 29 to No. 34, down nine in the last two weeks)
  • “Hold On to Me” by Lauren Daigle (down 17 from No. 20 to No. 37)
