Christian Music Top 40, 6.13.21: Crowder stays dominant, No. 1 for 6th straight week

Crowder’s grip on the top of the Christian chart continued for a sixth consecutive week as “Good God Almighty” registered an incredible 98.8 percent rating in this week’s index. In many, if not most, weeks, tobyMac’s “Help Is On the Way (Maybe Midnight)” might be strong enough to claim the No. 1 spot, but with Crowder holding the top, tobyMac is landlocked at No. 2 for the fourth straight week. “Amen” by For KING and Country, “Say I Won’t” by MercyMe and “Hold On to Me” by Lauren Daigle rounded out the Top 5.

Most of the chart remained virtually in place, with 31 of last week’s Top 40 landing within two spots of where it was previously, and with 10 of last week’s Top 40 holding the exact same ranking. Now songs jumped more than four spots, and only two songs made leaps of four places – “Child of Love” by We the Kingdom (up to No. 6 from No. 10) and “Even At My Worst” by Blanca (up to No. 30 from No. 34).

Just one song made a debut this week. Hulvey’s “Reasons” made its first appearance at No. 33 after spending the previous five weeks on our “Side Burner” chart. “Somebody” by Zoe Worship made a reappearance on the chart at No. 38 after one week away.

Here is the updated chart for the week of June 13, 2021. Each song is linked to its official video on YouTube, where possible. To listen to the full playlist of these songs, visit our page on Spotify.
