A host of new Christian songs were released late in the week and may eventually climb toward the top, but for a third straight week, Phil Wickham’s “Battle Belongs” holds on to the No. 1 slot, narrowly edging out Jeremy Camp’s “Out of My Hands,” which moved up to No. 2. “Truth Be Told,” by Matthew West, is still strong but slips to No. 3, while Andrew Ripp’s “Jericho” and Crowder’s “Good God Almighty” round out the Top 5. By a razor thin margin, “Less Like Me” by Zach Williams missed out was leapfrogged by Crowder and missed out on the Top 5.
There were a lot of big movers this week, as six songs jumped at least four spots, led by “God of Revival,” by Bethel Music, which soared 12 spots from No. 34 to No. 22. The week’s other biggest moves were “Hold On to Me,” by Lauren Daigle (up four from No. 17 to No. 13); “God Who Listens,” by Chris Tomlin and Thomas Rhett (up five from No. 25 to No. 20); “When We Fall Apart,” by Ryan Stevenson (up seven from No. 28 to No. 21); “Quiet,” by Elevation Rhythm (up four from No. 36 to No. 32); and “Help is On the Way,” by Unspoken (up four from No. 38 to No. 34).
Five songs made their debut this week, while another made a rocket shot re-entry. The biggest entry was Rhett Walker’s “Gospel Song,” which entered at No. 25. The other debuts were “Survival,” by Needtobreathe (No. 35); “Faithful God,” by I Am They (No. 36); “Even the Impossible,” by Mack Brock (No. 38); and “Echo Holy,” by Red Rocks Worship (No. 39). “Every Step of the Way,” by Cade Thompson, made a huge re-entry after four weeks away, landing at No. 26.
