What are five simple exercises to do at home?

Apparently WordPress has decided that after asking me about my healthy eating habits, I am now qualified to offer fitness advice.
This seems reckless.
The question is: What are five simple exercises to do at home?
I actually do have a couple of things I can use for an at-home workout. I have a resistance-band setup that anchors on the outside of my bedroom door. When I close the door, I can use the bands from the living room and work through a routine designed to target different muscle groups.
I also have a couple of workouts from Yoga for Regular Guys, the program created by Diamond Dallas Page. I printed the routines on tabloid-sized sheets and laminated them, which gives the whole thing a very official appearance. They have been sitting there for years.
My basic bowling-ball shape suggests the laminated sheets have gotten more exercise than I have.
Still, both setups are actually pretty useful. The resistance bands let me do rows, presses, curls and other movements without needing a room full of weights. The yoga routines work on flexibility, balance and strength, and they don’t require much beyond enough floor space to stretch out without taking down a lamp.
So if I had to come up with five simple exercises to do at home, I’d probably go with resistance-band rows, resistance-band chest presses, squats, some basic yoga stretches and a plank or two.
Those are all perfectly good exercises.
They’d be even better if I actually did them.
That’s probably the real lesson here. Most of us don’t have an exercise-information problem. We know we’re supposed to move more. We know walking is good for us. We know stretching helps. We know strength work matters. We know sitting on the couch while staring at laminated workout sheets does not technically count as yoga.
The hard part isn’t knowing what to do. It’s doing it consistently.
So yes, I have five simple exercises I can do at home. I even have the equipment and the workout sheets ready to go.
Now I just need someone to ask WordPress what exercise is best for getting off the couch.
