Why complain?

Daily writing prompt
What do you complain about the most?

Honestly, I try my best not to complain. I’m sure I’m guilty of it from time to time, but I never want anyone to be able to catch me complaining about something so often that it stands out.

“I really wish I could find myself someone who will never stop complaining about the things that bother them,” said no one. Ever. Complaining doesn’t fix things. Actually, it makes them worse because all of that energy is spent on being negative and unproductive. Plus, the Bible tells us repeatedly – in both the Old and New Testaments – that complaining is a sin.

So, while I’m sure you might find me complaining about a situation now and then, please let me know if you ever find me continually complaining about things or about a single thing continually. I’d like to know that about myself so that I can knock it off and shut myself up.
