Yes, I have all of the technology needed to access every corner of the online universe. And I have accounts on everything from Facebook to Instagram. (I’ve even thrown caution to the wind and created an account on the villainous TikTok.)
The thing is, I really don’t have time to manage these accounts and keep them updated. There have been times that I’ve read through myriads of posts on one service or another, and the time spent doing that mounts fairly quickly. Honestly, I don’t know where people who constantly update their various accounts find the time to do it. Life is just too busy to stay engaged endlessly on social media.
So I guess the answer is that I don’t really have to limit my screen time. Life itself does a pretty good job of limiting things all by itself. I suppose that if that ever becomes a problem I’ll have to come up with a different answer.
