Christian Music Top 40, 7.31.22: ‘For God Is With Us’ holds on to No. 1 for fourth week

For the fourth consecutive week, For King and Country’s, “For God Is With Us,” has shown resilience and strength in every measure and remained the No. 1 song in Christian music. By the slimmest of margins, Matthew West’s “Me on Your Mind,” missed out on the top spot and surged to No. 2, slowed down mainly by its streaming numbers. (It will likely make up that difference next week and should be the next No. 1 song.) Brandon Heath’s “See Me Through It” remained at No. 3, and was followed by Phil Wickham’s “Hymn of Heaven,” which leapt two spots to No. 4. Andrew Ripp’s “Fill Your Cup” stayed put at No. 5. Meanwhile, Katy Nichole’s “In Jesus’ Name (God of Possible)” fell out of the Top 5 for the first time in 17 weeks, including 12 weeks at No. 1.

Here is the updated chart for the week of July 31, 2022. Each song is linked to its official video on YouTube, where possible. To listen to the full playlist of these songs, visit our page on Spotify.
