Fans have clearly fallen in love with Harry Styles all over again, as his No. 1 smash, “As It Was,” continues to dominate the charts. It soared onto the charts at No. 3 11 weeks ago, ascended to No. 1 two weeks late and is still there nine weeks later. Only Jack Harlow’s “First Class” has come close to topping Styles, and Harlow has been stuck at No. 2 for the past seven weeks. Rounding out the top five are Lizzo’s “About Damn Time,” Latto’s “Big Energy” and Glass Animals’ “Heat Waves.”
“Heat Waves” continues to dominate in its own right, having been lodged in the Top 40 for 62 weeks. It’s been in the Top 10 for 33 straight weeks and has been outside of the Top 5 only one time since November 27. During that stretch it also held onto No. 1 for 12 weeks. As we reach the midyear point of 2022, “Heat Waves” has already shown the kind of strength that sent “Levitating” to the top as the biggest song of 2021.
Of the seven songs that exited the chart this week there were two standouts. Justin Bieber’s “Ghost” fell from the T0p 40 after 35 weeks, having peaked at No. 4. “One Right Now,” the collaboration between Post Malone and The Weeknd, spent 27 weeks in the Top 40 and peaked at No. 11.
Here is the updated chart for the week of June 25, 2022. Each song is linked to its official video on YouTube, where possible. To listen to the full playlist of these songs, visit our page on Spotify.
