Christian Music Top 40, 1.22.22: for KING & COUNTRY, ‘Relate’ unwavering at No. 1

After three weeks, the first month of 2022 has been all about for KING & COUNTRY and their most recent hit, “Relate,” which has dominated the chart. Our matrix indicates that no other song is even close to “Relate,” though Phil Wickham’s “House of the Lord” is showing remarkable staying power and has risen back to No. 2. “Come What May” by We Are Messengers, “Look What You’ve Done” by Tasha Layton and “In the House” by Crowder each rose one spot to land in the Top 5 at No. 3, 4 and 5 respectively.

Two longtime residents of the Top 40 fell from the chart this week. Matthew West’s “What If,” which was on the countdown for 28 weeks and peaked at No. 2, and Jeremy Camp’s “When You Speak,” which was on the chart for 26 weeks and peaked at No. 6, both moved into recurrent status.
