This one would have been interesting, more because of the manner of broadcast than for the matchup on the field. Barstool Sports was both the title sponsor and the broadcaster, meaning that this would have been the only game that would require viewers to watch online using an app. Sadly, we never got that chance, as Boise State had to cancel its trip to Tucson because of COVID issues. Had the game moved forward, you would have heard me talk about Boise’s relative strength on both sides of the ball, though it probably wouldn’t have been enough to justify the 6-point spread.
