Stingy defenses will be on display Thursday night when Wisconsin and Arizona State square off. No team allows fewer yards than the Badgers, and Arizona State was second to Utah in the Pac-12 at both points and yards allowed. The Badgers also tend to not lose in bowl games, and that shouldn’t be any different here. Wisconsin is a lot like Clemson in that it discovered an offensive rhythm late in the season, led by a pounding rushing attack by Braelon Allen. Neither offense is especially impressive, but Wisconsin will have a bit more success moving the ball against Arizona State than vice versa. By the end of the game, the Sun Devils will be more gassed than the Badgers, which will allow Wisconsin to salt the game away in the fourth quarter.
