In an extremely close week, Anne Wilson’s “My Jesus” narrowly outpaced CAIN’s “Yes He Can” and became this year’s eight No. 1 song on the Christian chart. The gap between the top two songs was little more than one percent, with the biggest difference coming in streaming and downloads. The rest of the Top 5 was also jumbled as “Be Alright” by Evan Craft, Danny Gokey & Redimi2 moved up two spots again to No. 3. “Rattle!” by Elevation Worship also moved up two places and entered the Top 5 at No. 4. And “Help is On the Way (Maybe Midnight)” by tobyMac fell two spots to No. 5. “Gospel Song” by Rhett Walker fell out of the Top 5 to No. 6.
Most of this week’s chart remained remarkably stable, with 34 of this week’s songs staying within two spots of where they were a week ago. There was one notable exit from the chart — Jordan Feliz’s “Next to Me,” which had a 29-week run in the Top 40. After entering the chart on January 23, “Next to Me” ended up spending 10 weeks in the Top 10 and peaked at No. 7.
