The Christian Top 40 showed very little change this week, including at the top, as Crowder’s “Good God Almighty” held on to No. 1 for a third straight week. Zach Williams’ “Less Like Me” and tobyMac’s “Help Is On the Way (Maybe Midnight)” both eked up one spot to land at No. 2 and No. 3 respectively. Phil Wickham’s “Battle Belongs” slipped to No. 4, and MercyMe’s “Say I Won’t” remained at No. 5.
The bulk of the chart was either unmoving or showed little movement. Only two songs made significant upward moves of four or more spots. “All Things New” by Big Daddy Weave jumped four place (No. 28 to No. 24). And “Run to the Father” by Matt Maher leaped five spots (No. 33 to No. 28).
For the second week in a row, only two songs made their debut. “Promises” by Maverick City Music made its appearance at No. 30, and “Look What You’ve Done” by Tasha Layton debuted at No. 35.
