After big changes on the Christian chart a week ago – the biggest being Crowder taking over the No. 1 spot with “Good God Almighty” – the chart is largely a carbon-copy of last week’s version. Fourteen of last week’s Top 40 are in the same position, and another 14 are within two spots of where they were a week ago. The same songs are in the Top 5, with Crowder at the top, followed by Phil Wickham’s “Battle Belongs,” Zach Williams’ “Less Like Me,” tobyMac’s “Help Is On the Way (Maybe Midnight)” and MercyMe’s “Say I Won’t.”
While most of the chart remained in place, several songs did make significant upward moves of four or more spots. Riley Clemmons’ “Keep On Hoping” jumped six spots, carrying it from No. 26 to No. 20. Elevation Worship’s “Rattle!” eased up four spots from No. 25 to No. 21. Dante Bowe’s “Joyful” moved up six from No. 29 to No. 23. And Hope Darst’s “Promise Keeper” made the biggest move of the week, up seven spots from No. 38 to No. 31.
Only two songs make their debut at the bottom of the chart this week, and a third re-entered the Top 40. “Mercy” by Elevation Worship and Maverick City Music entered the chart at No. 39, followed by “Come Back Home” by Petey Martin and Lauren Daigle.
“Help Is On the Way” by Unspoken made a re-appearance at No. 38 after one week off the chart.
