While we know that artists like Phil Wickham and Jeremy Camp are in no way in a personal contest to see who can beat the other out for the No. 1 slot on the charts, their latest singles are definitely duking it out at the top of our chart for the second straight week, and two other songs are in hot pursuit. Wickham continues to hold on to No. 1 with “Battle Belongs” for the fourth week, and Camp narrowly missed with “Out of My Hands,” and holds tight at No. 2. Meanwhile, Crowder’s “Good God Almighty” and Zach Williams’ “Less Like Me” both climbed two places to No. 3 and 4 respectively. MercyMe’s “Say I Won’t” jumped four places to round out the Top 5.
There weren’t many big movers this week – of the 23 songs that didn’t lose ground, 19 either didn’t move at all or went up between one and three spots. Aside from “Say I Won’t,” only three others jumped four or more spots: “No Hopeless Soul” by Stephen Stanley soared 10 spots from No. 30 to No. 20, “Every Step of the Way” by Cade Thompson jumped four places from No. 26 to No. 22, and “Quiet” by Elevation Rhythm leaped six spots from No. 32 to No. 26.
The biggest mover for the week, however, was a debut by Leanna Crawford, whose “Mean Girls” made its first appearance this week at No. 24. Two other songs also debuted and one re-entered: “Believe for It” by CeCe Winans returned to the chart at No. 34 after one week away, while Elevation Worship’s “My Testimony” entered at No. 37 and Church of the City’s “God Turn It Around” premiered at No. 38.
