Christian Music Top 40, 3.21.21: ‘Battle Belongs’ at No. 1 again

The Christian chart is log-jammed at the top by current and former No. 1 songs, topped by Phil Wickham’s “Battle Belongs, which stays at the top for a second week. Three of the four songs following it have also spent time at No. 1: Matthew West’s “Truth Be Told” (No. 2), Andrew Ripp’s “Jericho” (No. 4) and Elevation Worship’s “Graves Into Gardens” (No. 5). The lone non-No. 1 in the Top 5 is Jeremy Camp’s “Out of My Hands” No. 3).

The Christian chart has remained relatively unchanging, especially at the top, where nine of the Top 10 have been on the chart for the past 10 weeks (which is when we debuted our Top 40). Only a handful of songs moved up more than three spots this week, led by “When We Fall Apart” by Ryan Stevenson, which jumped up eight spots from No. 36 to No. 28. The week’s other biggest movers were “Without You” by Social Club Misfits (up six from No. 37 to No. 31), “Help Is On the Way (Maybe Midnight)” by tobyMac (up four from No. 16 to No. 12) and “Believe For It” by Cece Winans (up four from No. 39 to No. 35).

Only two songs debuted this week: “God of Revival” by Bethel Music (No. 34) and “Help is On the Way” by Unspoken (No. 38).

Here is the updated chart for the week of March 21, 2021. Each song is linked to its official video on YouTube, where possible. To listen to the full playlist of these songs, visit our page on Spotify.
