Phil Wickham’s ascent up the chart has culminated in his first number one single with “Battle Belongs.” The song leapfrogged Matthew West, who remains at No. 2 with “Truth Be Told,” while Andrew Ripp’s “Jericho” slips to No. 3. Jeremy Camp rises to No. 4 with “Out of My Hands,” while “Graves Into Gardens” by Elevation Worship drops to No. 5.
Most of the chart remained fairly stable, as 32 of this week’s songs moved fewer than three spots up or down. The two big movers of the week have both been on the chart for just three weeks but have already reached the Top 20 – “Child of Love” by We the Kingdom (up seven to No. 19) and “Hold On to Me” by Lauren Daigle (up 11 to No. 20).
Two songs debuted this week and a third re-entered the chart. “For Your Good” by Kevin Lemons and Higher Calling (No. 38) and “Believe For It” by Cece Winans (No. 39) make their first appearance on this week’s chart. Meanwhile, Zach Williams and Dolly Parton re-enter the chart after five weeks away with “There Was Jesus” at No. 40.
