A Song That Changed My Life (Again)

What’s a song that changed your life?

Apparently, WordPress has decided that 97 days is an appropriate amount of time to forget a life-changing experience.

On July 28, the daily prompt asked, “What’s a song lyric that has stuck with you forever?” Today, we’re being asked, “What’s a song that changed your life?”

Well, I suppose I could come up with something different, but that would require inventing another life-changing moment. And frankly, the first one was pretty spectacular.

The song was Keith Green’s “Altar Call.” The date was June 17, 1984. And the decision I made that night changed the course of my life forever.

I told the whole story in The Song Lyric That Changed My Life.

Fortunately, my memory goes back farther than July. Apparently, WordPress’s doesn’t.
