… and so I won’t. I funny have any traits that I absolutely love about myself — even my writing ability, which is on display every time I post something to my blog. But there are things I try to do and hope that I display in my life, and I suppose those would be the qualities most worth discussing.

The things I hope others see in me the most are the way I show grace, mercy and love to others. I’m not perfect with these traits, but I saw the way my mother impacted those qualities to the people she met each day, including me. Watching her interact with friends, family’s and total strangers, I saw what a difference she made by just being kind. That’s the sort of difference I want to make in people’s lives, so that’s the example I try to follow. I’m not nearly as good at it as she was and I’ll probably never be, but it’s worth trying — and it makes me feel better about myself, too.
