Few songs have been as dominant in recent memory as “Heat Waves” by Glass Animals. This week marked the song’s one-year anniversary on the chart, and it also marked its 11th consecutive week at No. 1. “Heat Waves” has been in the Top Ten for 23 straight weeks, and it’s unlikely to leave in the near future, even if it is unseated by Harry Styles’ “As It Was,” which rocketed onto the chart at No. 3. Imagine Dragons’ “Enemy” jumped to No. 2, while “Stay” by The Kid Laroi and Justin Bieber and “Big Energy” by Latto filled out the remainder of the Top Five.
