The three-way battle for No. 1 on the pop chart got even close, but it was Dua Lipa that emerged victorious this week with “Kiss Me More.” Last week, the Top 3 songs were separated by less than 3 percent in our algorithm. This week, that shrank to less than 7/10 of a single point. With the No. 1, “Kiss Me More” became just the seventh song this year to top the chart. Dua Lipa’s “Levitating” fell to No. 2, followed by Olivia Rodrigo’s “good 4 u.” The rest of the Top 5 was filled out by Justin Bieber’s “Peaches” and Rodrigo’s “deja vu.” (The Weeknd’s “Save Your Tears” fell to No. 7, taking it out of the Top 5 for the first time in 19 weeks.)
