The Dreamer Who Dug Out the Muck

I’ve admired Walt Disney for as long as I can remember—maybe because I got to walk through the Magic Kingdom before it opened, or maybe because I’ve always been drawn to people who imagine worlds that don’t yet exist. If I could meet any historical figure, he’d be the one. After all, he’s the man who looked at Florida’s muddy lakes and simply said, “Not in my park,” then built magic from the ground up.
