Bowl Prediction: Celebration Bowl, Grambling State vs. N.C. Central

Air Force Reserve Celebration Bowl
Grambling State (11-1) vs. N.C. Central (9-2), Atlanta, noon, ABC
Grambling State – 15.5 – O/U 58.5

Grambling State had a virtually perfect season, suffering its only loss on the road to FBS Arizona. N.C. Central was equally perfect against FCS competition, going 9-2 and losing (badly) to both Duke and Western Michigan. The Eagles’ signature win was a 42-21 shellacking of rival N.C. A&T in the season finale, which decided the MEAC conference title. This could come down to a battle between the two quarterbacks – Grambling’s Devante Kincade and N.C. Central’s Malcolm Bell. The better of the two seem’s to be Kincade, and he should be able to do just enough to put the Tigers over the top. Still, expect a tight game which should be in doubt until the final minutes. Prediction: Grambling State, 27-20
